Thanks folks, not looking for any kind of retribution. I think electronics for us is a lost art and will become ever moreso. We need to try and keep it going and at least when someone shows a genuine interest and has good self desire and learning to gain these skills those in the know should embrace these people as they are the ones will be keeping yours and our boxes alive for years to come.

Electronics of the retro kind is even becoming a lost art within the industry. I will try and help anyone on this site if I can, but I have to rack my brains on some things, particularly if I haven’t come across them for 20 years!
