Ok, met up with my buddy Dave (mitcheljames) at his house yesterday to do some trades and to hang playing boxes
As always my time with Dave was good putting boxes through there paces and talking man stuff!

It's always great to meet up with another box nutter and share the obsession!

I was at my sisters in Cheshire today so met up with Neil (Schneil) and gave him his 9191 back after I'd changed the tape head. I brought my M70 too so he could experience how good it was. So I suppose that probably counts as a mini mini meet lol

Thanks for nice comments on my boxes boxes fellas im going to do some new collection pics soon.

Smeats, yep the 550 is newish, got it in a trade with SM a few months back.

For the record i absolutely love it, despite the lack of line-in its probably my most used box.

The M70 sounded great. Even better when we'd hooked up a raspberry Pi and USB soundcard. Very clear sound, and it's a really solid box. We just couldn't figure out how to work the APSS (we had a cassette tape to demo it)

Oh yeh, had forgotten about that...must search out an owners manual to find out how to work the damned thing...it was clearly beyond us pair lol

And that Pi was pretty cool...I've always liked Pi, both the steak and kidney type and the number, now I like this one too
