ok guys I'm super exited, after getting this sanyo 9990 in like new condition, 

mid size, tape sounds amazing, not too loud, just by having this unit looking like new it simply took me back to the 80's, I feel like a kid opening this boombox for the first time,

dont know what it is man but this hobby is amazing.

it came with some extras , check it out guys.

I have the whole line illustrated in the booklet

except the last one.

In the ''Retail Price List'' it says 1977 and i always thought

this line were made in 1979.

Drip it would be nice to show us the prices

of those models back in the day.

What a beauty, these are really nice boxes. I picked one up recently and although the tape doesn't work it sounds great on radio and line in.

This one is in amazing condition to, thats a great find mate and so nice to see someone so enthused with their new buy

Nice! Must be cool getting one in new condition.  Just to echo what someone said on the other site, unlike other hobbies, this one rewards you back. I've been working from home all day with one of my boxes playing non stop.

i think since is only from 1977. And other models came out maybe a year or two later.

in my honest opinion,i believe this sounds better than an aiwa 950.these are super decent bass sounding,had one and wish i still had it,yours is looking fantastic drip trip,an awesome radio worthy of anyones collection.its on my to get list next

you are right Andy the bass is pretty good, the treble is not bad either, I'm just happy with it.
