Hi. On Friday 10th, I spotted these two Santas singing and dancing to some music coming from this Crown. They got a lot of interest from the shoppers. I just had to take a pic with my phone!

I was, and I wasn't. The Crown SZ-5100 is firmly on my wants list, but that one had been modded so I didn't really want it. As you say, the woofers aren't original, the LED meter didn't work, some equalizer sliders were missing, and the really confusing thing - they were starting and stopping the music without touching any controls on the boombox... wireless line-in? definitely strange. But it was cool to see such an iconic '80s box when I was on my break.
