I just went through youtube and found this:
video.seems to be a shop selling all possible things from the 80-ies and stuff.
He introduces some boomboxes.
Maybe the shop is near someone?
Geezum crow that's a great vid!
I bet the prices make ebay look reasonable judging from his tone.
Kick arse find Kid!
Rock On.
So he's in Canada?
(Unit #7 at 7171 Torbram Road in Mississauga)
I wish I was closer. Very cool stuff in that store. Maybe our Canadian memberscan check his sore out and score some sweet boxes.
'It all here folks!'
Fuzz... How did you come up with that info Bro?
'Police business' I supposed eh?
Id buy some stuff from this guy! I liked the Ghostbusters sticker on the counter glasstoo... Gotta find me period correct stickers for a few of my boxes! The non mint ones of course...

its actually closer for me to come to you. i mean thats so far aways from me and james67. too bad.
Some observations...
He likes to say "circa" alot. And "original"
He likes to tell you "boy does she pound" and he invites you to come into the shop do so yourself. Nice to know that the boxes are getting daily abuse in a smokey environment.
Amazing that his JVC PC-55 weighs in at 60 lbs. Good grief...
It would be an interesting shop to go into, but I doubt I could stand being in there for very long. Even with all the battery covers and antenna he has....
with 71spud. I don't think he really respects those boxes.
Plus, the PC-55 is apparently a 1989 JVC...
well this shop is about 20 minutes from me.
Maybe i'll go check it out and let you guys know.
Yes the smoking while video taping is annoying.
Lets see what this guy really has and is asking for.
I will let everyone know by the end of the weekend.

yeah seems like a pawn shop with a slightly more ambitious attempt at marketing itself.

I thought that right off the bat, he apparently couldn't put the cigarette down long enough to take his video. I fear for the condition of the boxes with the smoking, they are likely to be yellowed some and have a cigarette smell.
Let us know how it turns out Cutra.
Ok so I went today and checked out the store.
It's very interesting as the shop is actually his father inlaw's plumbing shop and the front is all old 70,80 and 90's stuff like Atari 2600's to hand held games to collector card yet mostly game console games for nintendo, sega, etc...
He did have some boomboxes about 5 or 6 of them yet they are his personal collection and he is not selling them.
I walked in and to my surprise the store did NOT smell like smoke. Trust me I would know as I'm not a smoker...
Top it off he does not really use the boom boxes at least he did not have them hooked up or playing.
Turns out that he's a real nice guy.
Some of the items were definitely overpriced yet the handheld games were reasonably priced.
Anyway I would definitely go back.
Thank you Cutra. Nice finishing touch to an interesting lead. Now you have a fishing spot for other boxes he might get in the future.
Thats so cool the man is living the 80's.
...Like we all do more or less
He`s a member meanwhile ,you can tell him personally...
I actually went to that shop awhile back to see what grails he might have. I met the owner and he is SUPER SUPER cool
. The store has all kinds of cool/rare vintage stuff inside. I wish there were more places like this!

Yup the owner is a great guy and very nice.
I wish the store was bigger with more stuff yet maybe not It would really hurt my pocket book.

Welcome Evo. Your like 5 minutes from me. I called last year and asked if you were selling a boombox in one of your ads. And you said, "not selling, but I collect them". so I never visited
