The above poster is from the last Concert

 ever performed by the Clash .

It took place exactly 30 years ago, 27 of July  1985

in Athens Greece at Panathinaikos Stadium for 

the '' Rock in Athens '85 '' Festival .

It was co-organized by the now defunct

tourist office Nouvelles Frontieres

as Athens was for the year 1985 the

Cultural Capital of Europe.

What makes me happy for finding this poster

is that the Clash never wanted their name written at an official poster and

they just wanted to be mentioned as  ''special guests''

because they didnt agree with the whole line up !

Never knew such a poster exists !!!

And ofcourse because this is their last performance !

Anyway some of you might wonder why am i posting this here !

If you look closely at the poster then you can

clearly see an Aiwa CS-880.

Nope. There are few boxes made in Taiwan and Hong Kong, looking like this, and like those early Aiwa's, but I don't know them all. So I'm not sure. And when I'm not sure 100%, I do not try to name the box

Goodevening everyone today i got the boombox that is missing from the pic with all the CLA5H boomers. So for those who enjoy this kind of pictures here is one with Joe Strummer with it and a pic of the actual mono.

Also thanks to you that recognised this model i got the JVC mono.  In the beggining i thought it was a Sanyo. This JVC has a proper line in too and as the Sticker from Joe Strummer says it really goes Loud . In fact you wont believe how loud it gets for its size.
