I remember my grandad telling me how he used to go and see the Beastie Boys, have a chip supper on his way home and still have change from a farthing

Never seen them but would have loved to...they're definitely a 'one off' and its sad when the icons of your youth start dying off

On a somewhat related note, my 11 year son is now a bonafide Beastie Boys fan. He's loaded up his pod with my collection and bought a shirt from HMV with the BB's on it.

Proud is not the word...

i have finallly found what bbox MCA from the Beastie Boys is holding

on the last pic !!

It is a nonamesonic AWA (not AIWA) and it is pictured below

Sorry to say Deech, but it looks the same only from the first sight.

Controls layout on the top, and area below the tape are different Take a closer look.

Metad i think they are pretty close though !!

I guess the controls are the same as

The area below the tape might be modified but looks

black and seems to pop out from the boombox!

Hey Guys, I am also A MASSIVE Beastie Boys fan.. Thought i might add this pic of a tour poster from when they came down to Melbourne, Australia. I am also a fan of Transformers ( original cartoon, not movies) so this really ticks all the boxes for me!!

The album was released in Novemeber 1986 but back then music wasnt distributed so fast in the country i am coming from.

Cant believe this was almost 30 years ago.
