Yeah Tucker Jenkins was a bit of a hero! Wish I could get the series on DVD but it dosn't appear to be available, just a few youtube clips. It was required viewing at the time though!

I love the 120s; sounds really good for an inexpensive machine, a lot of my mates had one back in the 80's. I have one in my collection. It is mint! You have 7, good man!

You know how it works, Seb....
You buy one for nostalgia reasons then you see a better one, then a cheap one and then one for spares to make the first one work then one to fix up using the extra stuff from the fourth one and then the irresistible perfect one and then.....
You know.

Brilliant, but was there any need for the skinhead to blooter the tosh? and I thought Tucker's mate Alan was a judo expert in Grange Hill so why was he so sh.te at fighting??

A great shame about the Tosh! But Passmore was an angry skinhead, and the Tosh was playing Reggae Fevour, by Steel Pulse. Skinheads didn't allways see eye to eye with the reggae boys! And he was p***ed at Tucker for seeing his girl; and they were crap at fighting!! Somthing had to give! Bit of collateral damage! Good drama though!

Not that interesting but I used to work with Jonathan Lambeth in the late 90's who as any Grange Hill buff will tell you was Danny Kendall in some of the earlier episodes. He once gave me some old used scripts from the show with scribbles and notes on. One was for Gripper Stebson who true to form had written swear words on the front. I'll try and find it.

I remember that the real life Roland was popular with the ladies though. There was a really fit girl on the show and he dated her for years, even when she decided to get her kit off for a mens mag. Just to clarify; she WAS old enough and it was not an imprisonable offence to view said pictures! I think she went topless in the sun too.
Update; Paula Ann Bland and she appeared in and on the cover of Mayfair!
Yes, I am a perv. She went out with Pogo Patterson actually.

Yeah thats right; his little freind! Quite sweet really but she was a terrible actress!
seb968 - 2013-11-22 08:47
Oh, hang on, wasn't Roland the drummer in 808 state!!
