I bought a manual for the Aiwa CS880 (all model prefixes).
If anyone needs any info or a scan of a page, let me know. [URL=[URL=http://imageshack.us]
If you need the whole manual, you can order it from these folks like I did. It is very easy and they have paper or pdf files on quite a few models of boomboxes. they ship the paper manuals quite fast too. I typed a few in and the had a few common ones.
Service manuals.
Are the 880 speakers 145mm?
Ez,according to the manual the woofers measure 140mm.
Gee just a closeup pic of that Specifications page would be just fine with me for this Aiwa CS-880 James

Nice Skippy, I'm going to have to pick up one of these manuals. It's probably not a good idea to plug it in and blindly poke the boards with a screwdriver hoping to repair it.
Yes you should get a manual. No that would not be a good Idea to poke around in the with a screwdriver.. Ask Vladi,I think Ira and U.E repair boxes that way too..

Thats a great sorce for manuals, if only they did pioneer ones aswell.
hi Skippy, is that a copy or original manual?
It's a copy Hugo. The link above is where I bought it from. They do an excellent job of copying the manual,it is bound in a plastic binding.

Well according to Vladi certain types of scotch administered (to himself) in large quantities actually enhances his ability to repair boomboxes.
