I love all these Brochures Retro,i'm a real fan of the domestic Japanese only boxes,i have the GF999 and the GF535,and if i was a wealthy man,i would sell off all my uk/europe sharps and replace them with the domestic japanese only models, they just excite me more for some reason, and they are better equipped with extra features and more sockets on the back ect...

c'mon Paul lad, you know that english is not my native language, what does it mean?

I thought you have stopped to collect new boxes, why do you want some more sharps?

ghettoman - 2011-06-18 06:02

Metad..Be a sport means..

Example,

Be a good sport and go wash the dishes", or something like that,or

It kind of means "be a pal" be a nice man and....

Boxes..

i dont really want to buy any more radio's due to lack of interest and lack of space.

But...i soon get bored and end up buying more, the japanese boxes do interest me,if i had the chance of grabbing some japanese only domestic stereo's,i would buy them and sell all my uk models, but the only place to find the japanese boxes is on yahoo japan,i could buy from there if i had the cash because i know how to do it,and i have a japanese account, but by the time i buy and pay for them and shipping,it will end up a very lot of money, and i'm not a wealthy man..

Soo Metad,Come on,be a sport (be a pal) and buy me some japanese boxes please

Well, didn't you think, that after Fukushima disaster, boxes from yahoo could be radioactive way too much.

Do you want dangerous piece of plastic for your birthday, don't you?

So Paul lad, be a good sport and go wash the dishes, instead of collecting radioactivity

ghettoman - 2011-06-18 07:01

No i dont mind radioactivity, the people seem ok so i doubt that electrical stuff will have any, well i will risk it anyway

But box prices on yahoo have risen rapidly over the past few months,my GF999s cost me approx £250-£280 each about a year ago,and my GF535 cost about £220 at the same time, but had to pay £42 each for import duty,it worked out really expensive but i'm still happy i bought them, not sure i would do it again though, unless i inherited alot of cash, but that will never happen,i dont have many relatived left,my parents are both gone, grand parents are gone,so..no wealthy reletives i'm afraid..

I agree Beanie Man, I'm also intrigued by the Japanese domestic versions for the same reasons and the unique color schemes as well. I also find their approach to advertising design very interesting.

Only with time we can say that japanese people seem OK, not now

Belive me, you will see TV-news in near future, about health problems of japanese people, caused by Fukushima.
