I had one of these many years ago - they sound great and the speakers and the deck separate.

I sold one to a member one here when I first got here. They sound pretty nice. A fine quality build. I know I could of gotten more for what I sold mine for, but this member was pretty hard up for one. It was a childhood box for him etc etc.

Baby boomer u will be very happy with the Panasonic RX-300, I had one and it sounds very good, I sold it last year, I wish I didn't but It was an emergency matter, The buyer from Hong Kong was very happy with it, I hope u win it, But tell the seller to pack it with plenty of bubble wrap with the speakers detached cause it is very heavy. Yup probably someone made this seller an offer he couldn't refused, Damn really wanted to see how much it would of gone for .

Thanks for your ecouragement! Mostly I just wanted to know what all the fuss was about. Price was headed up into the stratosphere. Now I see it was removed. We'll never know the final price... or if it even sold... or if those bids were real. Phooey!

I had one and sold it for $400.00, Shipped it to Hong Kong and the buyer was extremelly happy, Hope u get one someday man.

I still have mine. Very nice units.
