Hello
I had a exchange-deal with a guy here in S2G, but after a few mails where the deal was made he never contact me again - so now the packed bbox stands since this time in my appartment and I gonne offer it again ...
Discription:For exchange - nice example in realy great condition, no missing parts (= incl. battery cover, cover for the speaker cable, ...), great sounding.
I got a few M1's, but no one looks that good. No damages or marks (a few scratches at the back of the speakers, at the holes for the wall mounts). Front of the speakers like new.
Radio, Amp ok. Tape plays, rewinds, fforward, but no sound. Right lamp from the tape VU's not working. No reception at LW, AM, SW - UKW is fine. UKW up to 104 mhz - got a 110 + 220 Voltage.
Would exchange against a Tosh WX-1, Pioneer CK-5 or CK-7, Sansui CP-5 or CP-7, Technics SA-05 or SA-07 or any other big and good sounding bbox ...
I sended him these pictures that he could see that I did a good packing job and it will arrive safe in the US ...
I closed the speakers and bbox with a plastic-bag, so no dust came inside + bubble plastic to safe the front of the M1
Styropor to make the botton safe. In all corners I put thick paper, so it's double boxed.
Also the speakers are double boxed + separat thick paper between the items and corners ...
In every small corner I put some special foamed material, so nothing can shake around in the packet ...
Also at the top - foamed material + a thick paper infront of the bubbled Telefunken head-unit ...
The packet is complete closed from the outside - I needed 2 complete rolls of tape ...
Plus I put on some stickers "GLAS" on every side ...
Best wishes
TOM
Just curious on the weight of that box?
Packing is awesome..
This unit is very heavy - around 15 kg / that's about 33 lbs ... thanks for the flowers (for packing) ... as a exchange unit the new owner just have to pay his shipping costs (to send his exchange unit to me - I pay the shipping costs for the Telefunken) ...
Thanks - TOM
i was also going to comment on the exellent packing tom..very good packing job !!
where do the battery`s go ?
Also to mention this is one of the great members to exchange with as myself have done great exchanges and purchases
, Highlly Recommended member to do business with, And these Telefunken are the bomb
.
The battery's are undersides - it's a kind of slider-door ...
That is an Awesome box Tom!
I would love it,but I have nothing to offer you for a trade you would want.
I just wanted to say how nice it was and wish you well on your trade.

Hi Tom, out of curiosity, what might you be asking for a gem like this? I really admire this unit, and would love to own one someday...
