Is this nuts or what? This isn't even mint like listed. Look carefully at the photos. There are knicks and scratches, and what looks like discoloration on the one speaker. A nice RX-5250 went off for alot less, and is a much nicer boombox. I don't get it. Here is the link: Panasonic RX-5150

Yes, you're right Skippy. I even emailed the seller trying to be "helpful", pointing out that it wasn't mint, and they got all snippy and rude with me. They said that they didn't see any knicks or scratches, and that the discoloration was the flash (yeah right ), and if I didn't like it don't bid. They told me that they didn't know what I was seeing but that I better get a pair of glasses. What an a$$. I sure hope one of S2G's members didn't win it.

It's not mint, but it is very nice. The blemish on the speaker looks more like a photographic effect rather than discoloration. Still, I never use the word mint because it's so subjective and if someone looks hard enough, they'll always find some blemish someplace.

Yes, you're right about that Stormin Normin. I would never list something as mint when it has obvious blemishes. Mint is absolutely flawless, as new, as close to perfect as it gets. That RX-5150 is not worth $185.83! That's ridiculous. The RX-5250 that was on went off at around $90, which is a sad price for that boombox. It is also a much nicer one.

I would've bid on that RX-5250 too and the final price would've probably been much more had I bid. But only moments before, I won something else that blew my whole wad for probably the rest of the year. Too bad -- hardly ever see the RX-5250 come around.

That box is a personal grail for me but that price is too much. If you look at the sellers feedback, there was an issue with description recently...Nice box overall though.
