i know what you mean dave,when i look at the close ups of that box,makes me feel like i've gone back in time..looks like it was bought this morning,and i bet the shop were it came from is well gone..

yes he had more than one already and the price has gone down for this CONION CRC-H84F since... make sure that the cassette player works though cause one didnt, ( much explaining here ) so I didnt pursue it further. Till he sell's one with a working cassette deck...

My personal favorite ever!

His original price was something like $2,500.

Its a shame he has had to drop the price so much... although Im not sure $2,500 was ever realistic.

I would not pay that amount for this particular model. Another question I ask myself if I were to buy an NOS box like this, would I use it or leave it inside the box?

I wouldn't even THINK of ever taking this out of the box. You could find a used one for less, probably. At this price, it's an investment.
