soon i'm going to sell +/- 100 boxes as i need to raise some funds for a new project - some of you guys know my collection, including quite a few raries, most of'em are original, untested and unrestored, but the most are complete and in good shape, before i list'em on ebay i offer them here on the board, i'm located in the middle of germany and am prepared to deliver if somebody wants the LOT within europe, continent at self-cost (i do have a van...)

to answer the project-question, earlier this year i founded a record-label with some friends, doing only vinyl-releases, no cd's, specialized in doom, punk, noise, stoner-rock
had only one release untill now but plan of course on many more, mainly for bands who don't wanna disappear in the huge mp3-labyrinth

anybody got a band and would love their own vinyl, small editions, 180grams, coloured vinyl and picture discs ?

These kind of sales never make any sense to me. Of course it may be a nice clean cut to stop collecting.... and sell everything to one local buyer who wants to pull up with a truck one Saturday afternoon and hand you a cashiers check. Reality is that if anyone does want to buy in bulk they want a huge discount off the prices. Some or most of the boxes might not be to their taste and liking anyway so you will be getting next to nothing for them.

It makes more sense to sell off what people want to buy a box or two at a time at the best prices you can get for each one. Yes it is more work, collecting the money and sending out the boxes. But in the end you will probably end up with MORE money and get that money FASTER than trying to find a buyer for everything. And in the end you will probably STILL have some boxes left to enjoy or give away.

I my experience I have never seen these kind of "fire sale" sales work. They usually fizzle away because this is a lazy way to sell... and usually the seller loses interest before anything happens...

"I'm going to sell 100 boxes!!!"... not if you don't reply or post any updates to your topic for 3 1/2 weeks.

sorry i haven't answered most of'em lately, especially the ones asking for certain boxes -

fact is: i did not sell the lot at once, there's a few of'em - if i had 10 of each, i could sell the lot in one day !

rightyright, i do still want to sell boxes, but i have to give same chance to everybody to buy'em - so from now on there will be the one or other box be auctioned on ebay (...my name there: autoreverser), it'll work on no explcite order, just as they come -
when i auction'em i'll try to discribe'em as good as possible, means even test'em, i'll be as honest as possible on function/ condition etc., there'll be only no reserve- auctions, sorry i'm not answering any pm's on special boxes etc. on this board at the moment,
that's not ignorance, that would be just too much work right now (...and i rather spend as much time as possible with my son right now)
