and what?
I think gettoman was hinting at the ridiculously high price someone paid for a portable radio.

That really isn't a bad price at all. The only risk is transit- no offense to Peppin he is a great seller here- it's just bad things can happen when a radio is shipped around the world.
I hope the winner gets it just as described.

You are right,no one bid..i think its because of the slump in boombox prices, its took a real hit in recent times..
Johnny, thats a real nice price, more realistic than peppins, almost $800 is way up there, people just have'nt got that sort of cash anymore..
Nice to see you posting PF
Why are these models of boombox demanding so much money these days?
To pay almost £1000 for what is still essentially a portable radio, is absurd IMO, RX-5350 or RC-M90, I don't care what model it is, that price is FAR TOO HIGH...

I hate to say this retro because peppin is a good, and respected seller,but...i've no idea why his prices have shot up soo much, not so long ago he used to sell stuff at reasonable prices..boxes should be cheap, especially at these hard times with recession an all..box prices should be at rock bottom right now..no one is buying like they used to..
check this i put up the other day..

The reason things aren't selling is because sellers have become greedy.....Setting high BIN's when they should have just started at 99 cents and let nature take its course.
