the 9191 is a great box, ticks all the boxes.

youll need a pic of it up if you want any interest btw - not being factitious, its just requirement for a good deal

yalrite andy, i would consider other models too mate to trade, now the pic business iv,e been trying to upload a few pics through tinypic.com, it let me upload the philips model i put on here the other day but no more, same thing on imageshack, i use one of them c**ppy dongles mate don,t have broadband.
wonder if that,s out to do with it?

yeah i have but theyre side by side and go out left to right on most boxes, these appear to be one on top of the other and going in the same direction?

aha..i just had a quick look on egay,you are right,there was one of these little toshi's i've got..i never saw it..

iv,e never noticed that, maybe it,s the way the pics been took? there deffinetly not on top of each other, and they are pointing in opposite directions, well thats what im seeing anyway

i don,t believe the 9494 is as good as the 9191 andy, although i can,t really say coz iv,e never had 1, the 9191 is my favourite sharp box, it started a few years back in a charity shop.
the story goes like this, i walked into a charity shop not long after i started collecting.
i was box hunting, anyway as i entered the shop i heard music playing from behind the counter,
i walked over and leaned my head over the counter and saw what i now know to be a 9191.
i asked the lady if she would sell but she declined saying it was her sons inheritance of he,s nan.
straight away i thought b*ll***S, who would leave a radio in there will? anyway i went back to that shop for about a year naggin but she would,nt give in, i knew it wasn,t her sons because it was always in the shop playin the same song on tape 50,s music i think, what a waste of a 9191.
anyway i decided to pop in on an off chance and there was another lady working in there, i asked about the 9191 and whether it was for sale. she picked it up from behind the counter, looked at me and said sternly, £20, i could,nt believe my luck, i give her the 20 bricks and i was off mate deal done that was the hardest graft for a box iv,e ever done

lovely story mate-ive had instances like that-like the time i went to dewsbury and saw a MINT bright red sharp qt77 playing in a charity shop-was told couldnt buy it cos all their local branches had same one? anyway i told her to her face dont be silly, you all still have the same radio playing after all these years?so i gave her my moby number and told her to call when it was desposed of. went several weeks later to find it had gone-asking where is the red radio? i was told it had been thrown-and nobody ever contacted me!cretins!well it was the british heart foundation shop, and now im getting my own back-cos anything comes in of interest i take-or make sure i pay next to no money for!
