Wow, no one has been here to look since last night... Mmmmmmm!

Well, here it is, a Victor RC M50 (big pics to see better).











It came from Japan (real Japanese dust on there, yes!
What's needed to be done, would be:
a good, good clean.
to get a new back for the aerial (or I can make a mould and reform the hole to original. I think I might even have a aerial to adapt onto it after -not 100% sure for the aerial)
could make a knob for the radio dial.
could put a 100volt to 250volt transformer.
the speakers are no longer blue (washed out by the sun, thus grey).
And yes, there is no battery door....

So, you guys can do this on your own... find bits and part little-by-little.
But, if you would like for me do do some of the fixing up, that will be for an fee (mainly for the impression material, the pouring material and price of transformer... bla, bla, bla.

hey bredge, all the interest iv,e had in my boxes has come from overseas, there does,nt seem to be much of anything going down around here.
i only joined a couple of months ago and already it seems a lot quieter round here.
you,d think someone would want an m50 free of charge, then again it,s no loss to you

got to admit ive been thinking the same of late this place used to have loads going on. ive only been back here for a short while and its noticably different

no worries bredgeo, maybe people are just losing interest a little, to be honest im gettin bored already an iv,e not been round long as you know.
don,t think i could do the long haul theres just nothing exciting happenin, andy v seems to be the only guy i chat with on here regularly no offence andy by the way don,t take it the wrong way if you read this mate.

to be honest tho, i know i keep harping on about it, but theres just not enough to see in the way of images.

there used to be proper nice boxes getting posted up, photos and stuff to see and admire. which for me is a big part of these things.

there was that rambo estrada guy amongst others, who always seemed to pick up some lush boxes and other peoples pick ups and post photos of them. now you dont tend to see much of the nice stuff. its just alot of the dregs (no offence to anyone) its just the real nice gear you drool over seems to have gone...

im on another site, which is for retro cars, and its a rule that you post photos of sick cars, and you ask a stupid question or something, you have to post some sick stuff to rectify yourself. that place is booming. this place... hmmm.


sad times i come on here as i like ghettoblasters but theres not much to feed that anymore.

oh and another thing, i guess which is the main thing going against s2go, is that boomboxery site.

im only staying on here out of loyalty kind of thing, id feel pretty bad jumping ship even if i dont really have much to do with this place other than posting abit

ill tell you its because no shmuck can find anything, for the greedy joe public who think its cool to stick boxes on ebay and to ask what they want-and then charge what they want for shipping.
theres nothing at carboots-i never have found anything that major-the best ive had is a d8534.and lets face it that was no grail.plus its gone to az now anyway.
im seriously contemplating an iterest change. used to be big on classic cars.i may get wrapped up in that again.because it takes me having to trade with other collectors like lav-robbing him of his precious boxes-because they just dont exist in the wild no more.for me if it werent for top blokes like az (lav loo) id have given up,wrapped up my boxes and put em into storage a long time ago....
lets see what pans out over the next couple of months to wether boxes stay my life or not

andy v, even in the "golden era" shall we say, they never were that plentiful at booties. i only picked up a few nice boxes in 4 years and no grails. they were quite pricey for a boot fair too. the prices on the bay are really low at the moment, its died off there too.

the whole trendyness of these seems to have gone i guess. 2004 was pretty mental on here i remember when i was on my old username.

with you totally bill/andy, boxes have never been easy come easy go, over the years iv,e had a good few from the booty,s but never a grail, ile list a few, pioneer sk909l mint for a tenner, sansui c7 also mint for 8 quid, sanyo m9998l 7 quid also mint, sharp 9090 3 quid also mint, there is more but they stand out as good finds to me.
if boxes are gettin rarer then maybe there becoming more popular, not dying out as mentioned.
anyway im gonna plod on a while, i do like it here and theres some good genuine guys here so it,s not that bad i suppose, and yes we need more nice pics posting, (andy v) are you listening
