I have a Sears boombox that is unused in an opened box. It might have a high starting bid but I am getting married and I need cash...lol. Hey you never know it may sell for that. *crosses fingers*
Boombox Auction
I would of added more to the listing. like it could be used for a tv show or a movie. Used as a prop. another thing I would of added to the title the model number of the box. if someone is doing a search by model number it wont show up. also the model number isn't in the listing.
also 3am is not a good time to have an item ending. most people are in bed. makes it hard for the last min bidders if they are sleeping.
A good time to have an item ending is 9pm EST and 6pm PST. people are home at that time and surfing the web. at 3am they are sleeping. even midnight alot are ether up playing online games or sleeping. look back at compleated ebay listings. you will see items fatch the most money when they end in the evening when people are awake and home. ending in the middle of the day isn't good ether.

Thanks for the info. I just dont want to relist it. lol
I will add the model number.
yeah. next time you go to sell remember the start time is also the end time in 7 days. unless you pay the 10 cents and pick a start time. It's worth it if an item sells for 50 dollars more. who knows maybe even higher. this does look like a nice box. to bad you didn't find an jvc m90 in the box like that. the last one like that sold for over 2 grand.
That's the Sears version of the Sanyo M9977 or M4500.
The two Sanyo models look almost identical to your box, with the closer actually being the M4500 due to the screws in the cassette door.
EXCERPT FROM THE BBDB's INFO ON THE SANYO M9977:
ip:4500k

One thing is for sure... that bugger was expensive back in 1982!
Good luck.
You should definitely add the Sanyo relationship to you auction as that is a "psychologically more attractive" pickup than a Sears box.
The M9977's bigger brother (M9990) is in my avatar pic.

cool info and your right it looks almost like the m4500. just the tuning dial color isn't the same. other then that it almost looks the same.
http://www.stereo80s.com/bbx.cfm?id=471he should add this link the the ebay listing so people can take a look at both.

bump
I had one of those, it sounded good with old-skool clap-sound rap, like RunDMC.
