Yes, a hot chick would be a welcome addition to my otherwise perfect holiday season. But wait - maybe I can score a date with that drinking hottie on page one of this thread - anybody's got her number!?!? Big Grin

jlf - 2008-10-30 09:04

I dont know about page one, but I was the drinking hottie from page two last night and I dont swing that way Bro... but you do have a nice build I must say....

And no... I rarely give out my number, only a few members here have it. Sorry! Laugh Out Loud

kid.sensation - 2008-10-30 09:44

wait for like 3 hours and i will be the drunken hottie from page 3 Laugh Out Loud

on a serious note:

Ira, that's a nice piece!I think everyone , apart James, understands your point of the selling price! And im sure everyone who had the coin and wanted it would go for yours as your a valued and trusted member around here and ebay Smile

themightyrepairer - 2008-10-30 11:08

James has done that to me to Ira.. i held back from saying anything.. but honestly it's none of his business to tell others what you paid for the item. i knew also what you paid for it.. but i certainly wouldnt post it here, or tell interested parties what you paid for it.. that is extremely rude.. and absolutley none of his business.. if i had the cash i would grab that from you even though i know what you paid.. because that is by far one sexy beast and worth every penny.. DM4U mind your own business please.. good luck on your auction Ira..

enskanker - 2008-10-30 12:21

Well I have no dog in this hunt but now that the cat is out of the bag I feel OCDman that its best if you remember that only fools rush in where angels fear to tread and for Ira well we all did'nt just fall off the lorry so alls fair in Love and War and maybe he needs the extra cash for a marital aid but he is a man after my own heart, for we few, we happy few, we band of brothers must not go and boil our heads over this legend in his own mind.

or to put it more succinctly:

OCDman, a place for everything and everything in its place.

ford93 - 2008-10-30 12:54

I Agree also with bashngu this is a wonderful forum with a bunch of great guys & gals. It's not worth it to continue with this bashing onto others.

Peace,
Juan.

ahardb0dy - 2008-10-30 13:59

I already offered to store the Aiwa at my place for Ira if he doesn't sell it, I have plenty of room since I only have 1 boombox.

ahardb0dy - 2008-10-30 14:02

Ira, I got a deal for you, free home cooked Italian food on all the holidays and your b-day for the Aiwa!, I'll even go one better, bring your wife too.

fatdog - 2008-10-30 14:35

That seems like a good deal, Tony! If you add Ira's birthday to the list below and figure an average of $30 per meal per couple, it breaks even.

Valentine's Day
Lincoln's Birthday
Susan B. Anthony Day
President's Day
St. Patrick's Day

Don, I don't know about settling for less - there are always drunk hookers somewhere around the corner - and it works great - when I need to bump my self-esteem a notch (I don't speak from my own experience) Big Grin

jlf - 2008-10-30 17:20

Ah!

That link is awesome!!!

Great period advertising!

redbenjoe - 2008-10-30 17:25

hey tony - thanks alot for all that research --
i had seen some of these pages elsewhere ?? (forgot) --
but the reason that i like my version best --is that it looks like the only aiwa compo with the analogue tuner --
which , to me, is more fun than the digitals.

ahardb0dy - 2008-10-30 17:29

i found a few more of those mini aiwa components on e-bay but no one had the complete set. check out this sony system with the mini turntable:

If you use 1982 as the original year, it would cost approximately $2546.56 USD in 2007. Eek

driptip - 2008-11-01 09:47

Ira Is one fine person.

redbenjoe - 2008-11-01 10:15
