OK Ira lets start with the goods, It sounds amazing with plenty of BASS enough to feel it on the ground and with no distortion, It works with batteries but I don't think thats a good idea as this Sony FH-5 weights 25 Lbs without 10D batteries, Everything is intact nothing is missing, Antenna is straight complete and original. Tape deck works plays rew ff and even records but only on reverse mode which is towards the right side, Also when playing tapes for some reason there is a humm on the right side, But only when playing tapes, When using aux it sounds dynamite, Thunderous BASS, When using the am fm stereo the fm tuner works fine on stereo mode but not on mono, Stereo light does not come on even if is on stereo When tuning to am it is fine. There no damage nowhere, No cracks, No broken parts at all, Cosmetically is in good condition with the normal scratches here and there, I detached the speakers everything thing is fine there, They can be attach or dettach with no problems, Battery compartment is free of corrosion. I beleave it would weight about 40Lbs once is packed, If it comes out to less I will refund u the diference. I will pack it very well with plenty of commercial bubble wrap with the speakers detached for a safer arrival, And will be insured. Due to the size limitations I wont be able to ship it overseas only to the continental U.S.
