I can't believe I got it for only $41 (plus shipping)! I'm hoping it'll clean up nicely and easily. At least I have some experience working on the GF-777 tape decks.

nice win -- happy happy
great to see a $$ break on ebay
Thanks guys! The 666 is actually further down my "list," but I couldn't pass it up. The wife doesn't know I've adopted another "stray."
Thats a great buy!
How did I miss this?!
Wow! Excellent score Bobby, well done!
OK Bobby this makes a whole lotta sense...winning it is great...to bad you don't have it NOW while I'm here in Smyrna! (Yes guys! I'm in Tennessee visiting with 'tha Dog!) At least I and the wife slept well after being stuffed at Famous Daves having dinner with you and the your family and knowing you'd be successful! See ya later this morning!
I was also eyeing that item. You'll clean it up nice.
congrats fat dog great buy, well worth it.
Great price Bobby! I was going to BIN,but I had a GF666 before. So I passed,it should be an easy fix on the cassettes. My GF666 had the same problem, the little rubber wheels on the capstans were a gooey mess. I made new ones from a short lenth of automotive vacuum hose. It worked great! Congrats man.......
Wow, I think this is the cheapest hi-end Sharp I've seen in a long time!!
Congrats Bobby! Post some pics of your visit with OldSkool and familia too.
These are sweet nice win there, this is a feature packed unit and i bet it sounds good too.
Congrats Fatdog, a great score indeed!
