My JVC PC-R11C on ebay.
Linky:
JVC PC-R11C
It looks nice. The PC-11 is really the undiscovered sleeper of the early JVC PC-3/5/11/55 series.
anybody know how the 11 sounds compared to the 5 and the 55 ?
thanks
When I get home I can tell you how the 3/5/11 and 55 sound compared to eachother....
I have never had time to do any side-by-side comparison with the 11. It is a nice box though.
it sounds about the same only less powerful than the pc 55 and less bass ,its no blaster but it does have great sound quality and is as solid as they come ,not much lighter than the pc 55 in the weight department .it has a great cassette deck too.i wondered when people would take notice of these boxes ,it was the box that really got me into collecting hard core before that i just had an m90 a vz2000 and a trc 920.
I have the Vector a, PC-11 clone, and having a PC-3 and 55 as well, I can tell you that though none of them are punchy (55 has some though) you almost can't beat them for sheer clarity. The technology in those speakers of the 3/5/6/7/11 speakers you just don't find anymore. Full range means just that...full range. Good luck Hughes!
thanks --
i have a 5 and a 55 --
very happy with the sounds of both -
by a little bit -- the 5 has the bass edge

Bummer I didn't pursue that one. I do hope the buyer was someone from this forum, though!

OOPS, I just noticed that listing ended early... Seller must have made a deal off-ebay.
Good luck with your auction. Its a sweet looking box.
The jvc pc 11 is a nice unit, floyd is right on all counts i like mine although it was way cheaper tham this unit.
I picked up one of these recently, they are often very clean and work very well...
