anyone like to collect rare boomboxes that sound great ??
well -- here's one :

the 918 is very rare -- and this model with the slot tweeter covers is the rarest 918 (or ask jens ?) -
so then - if you can do the math -
this is the only one in the world --

whats bad :
the FF is 99% dead , the left side dial light is out (right side works) , and some fool made a fugly repair to the back side - above the battery cover -- but its VERY SOLID -and a 1/4 inch chip of the top left slot

what good:
line-in , play , rewind and RECORD ,RED tweeters look great, all controls are perfect -no parts missing - all original

20 1/2 x 12 -- super carrying size/sound

as for the bass and sound quality --
cant exaggerate how good it is -- so put in in the same big leagues as the aiwa 990 and sanyo 9994
(which is quite GOOD)

as for cosmetics --DONT get all faked out by the florida sunshine --its NOT all minty/shiny like the GPX 990 i posted this week --
but it does look very good from all sides (except the rear panel)

so - here's the deal -
during the next 5 days -- try to score a few of this exact model in the wild for 2 bucks -

if not -- send me a pm offer -add 40 for insured UPS ground - double boxed
