Hey Guys,

I'm looking at moving house in the next few months so I'm having a clear out.

First up I have a number of parts boxes. As boomboxes are hard to come by here in NZ over the past few years if any decent model bbx is available I've grabbed it, no matter the condition. You never know when you're going to need parts!?? But I can't make myself actually move this junk, so here it is.

Unfortunately I've had to buy most of these, so I'll have to actually sell the parts to recover costs, but prices will be reasonable.

Bear in mind that I'm in New Zealand, so shipping is a bit of an issue. For parts shipping usually isn't too much, around $10-$15US depending on the amount of parts, but shipping the whole radio would prove far to expensive, so I guess parts only is the way to go.

A few people have asked me for parts already in the past. From memory NED is after the tweeter and mic chrome bits from the J1 and Beatbox is after the J1 amp board and I think ghettogas was after the J1 tuner window?

If that's correct guys then maybe confirm your interest in this thread?

I'm pretty busy at the moment, and it is time consuming pulling these radios apart without damaging the parts, so it may take me several weeks to actually get around to requests, but I'll get there eventually, so please be patient.

I'd be interested in the 9998 tuner board, the feet and the back cabinet if it's in nice shape and all antenna posts are still intact.

Rambo i would like the speakers of the DISCO LIGHT. PLEASE save them for me. with all the hardware cables.

No problem, but the shipping might be expensive as they are heavy. Probably a bit less than those JC2000 speakers I sent you a while back.

Should be ok, but the feet I think are spoken for already. I actualy have another one I was thinking of parting out, I'll see how the demand goes.

I have a few more additions to my 9998 list. Any complete and fairly straight antennas you might have for the 9998 and the small screws on the jack board if they aren't rusted or maybe just the entire jack board if it's in good shape.

Thanks Rambo, Would love the clock battery compartment cover for the J1 and the Discolite tape counter button if theyr'e up. Cheers
