knob ??? does this have dolby, metal tape

capability ? How many Batteries does this take

Now that is a sweet looking 3 piecer hifitom! Love the tuner dial, I have an older Mitsubishi 7 cassette deck, same time period, with the same dial design. Solid box, what's the sound comparable to?

What does it sounds like? I would say it's the typical Philips-Sound. I have or had all their big bboxes, and like the once from Grundig you can hear them. The Philips are very nutral and don't sound very spectaculary - no deep black bass, no realy great and sharp highs. It just a good sounding box ... you can compare them to the smaller GF-Series from Sharp.

On thursday I gonne put all the boxes on ebay:
- the Philips (and a other one)
- Grundig Party Center 2000 hifi (not shure)
- Palladium Hifi Power
- a Panasonic (newer, black type)
- JVC PC 5
- Grundig Satellit 3400
- Sony FH 5 and FH 7
- Kenwood walkman
- and some other stuff which stands in the way

I bought so much bboxes this month, I need the space. My wife is near to freak out, because she can't walk in our storeroom any more (and my storage at the basement is full), so they have to go ... that's why I sad it's a one week offer ... and there was no response from the guys of S2G ...
