Hello
This is the model which came after the great Telefunken Hifi Studio M1 - the Telefunken HP 800 Hifi. A great sounding, heavy box with a lot of goodis.
Unit is in a good shape. No missing parts. Amp and Radio is working, tape needs a new belt.
I looking for an exchange, also against a high-quality unit, one or three-piece (like more the three-piece). Or make me an $-offer. This is a one week-offer.
Best wishes
TOM

My gosh. The controls are not even written in English. I suppose it's German. It's definitely not something that was marketed and sold in the U.S.
I must agree with the others one this one though. It's definitely a beautiful piece of machinery. The LCD digital tuner makes it seem way ahead of its time. As a matter or fact many of the controls and features look pretty advanced for its time. Does anyone know exactly what year this model was introduced/released?
Secondly, those are some big powerful looking woofers especially in the center of them. I bet the bass pumps very deep.
It was in a 1985 advertisement, the us version was
g.e.-3-6045 IBBN 7-05062,made in Japan.
Wow! So There was actually a U.S. version. Thats good to know. I bet that G.E. was expensive too back in '85.
By the way *TPR*, Nice pics there and thanks for your response.
