Hello Fellow Boombox fans,
Today is a good day. I was in the local VOA and found a RX C100. It is in rough shape externally and of course the tape deck does not work. The radio works fine but one of the speakers is blown, has a bad voice coil rub. So I have one already and i want to part this one out to anyone how may need a part. I myself am fixing the blown speaker (woofer) it will be available soon as well. The other one is fine. They both have relatively new surrounds as well. I did investigate the tape deck and it looks like a rookie was in there and it just does not work, belts missing and the mechanism itself is just loose so I'm sure it is missing parts. But the motor turns so I believe at least the motor works. If anyone is interested in parts let me know. The box itself is together but it is not pretty, looks like it spent alot of time in the sun.
