Up for sale on EBAY is the very hard to find and BEAUTIFUL GEN 3996A. It has to be the BIGGEST or one of the BIGGEST 'boxes that Monkey Wards ever sold. It comes from the original owner and includes the owners manual. This 'box is from 1980 OR 1981 and is in great physical condition.

The Look Is Cool,But The Perf Falls Short.
Sorry Just My Opinion.
Am Perf is Poor on This box as well as Sw,which is one of the worst Multi band boxes for adjacent channel rejection.
Better off with one of the old Wards Boat anchor analog sets for swl and another bbx for radio and cass listening!

This box has excellent quality sound. It's not a boomer by any means but has great seperation and clarity at moderate volumes. It's also engineered and built very well. IMO
