Hi, i am selling a really nice minty Sanyo M9880K with a mint service manual. Every function works on it great except for the SW bands, it doesn't seem to pull in any stations,all i get is static and a loud buzzing noise periodically when you perhaps tune in on a station if it is a station - i dunno. The FM and the MW/AM band pull in stations no problemo. The sound quality from the speakers is not too bad for little 7w speakers. I plugged in a couple big external ones and this unit sounded really really good then ! Every function of the tape deck works flawlessly. Battery compartment looks nice and clean. The service manual is i believe to be the original not a reprint, the only date i could find in it is from a included loose production change notice that is dated 12/17/85 . Features:
Tape - has reg. dolby NR and a mswitch for metal bias, and the only other tape features is auto stop and a counter.
Fm/Mw/Sw1/Sw2 with a mono/stereo sound switch
left/right balance knob
5 band eq - which works great - cleaned the contacts
The only Inputs are for left and right ext mics, sorry no aux inputs - but i used one of those old cd to cassette adapters and hooked up me ipod and it sounded pretty good doing it that way.

Has a switch on the side for ac/dc and a selectable 120/240 voltage switch

I have had only 1 negative in the past it was a neg for "SOLD ME A CAR STEREO THAT DOES NOT PLAY CD'S" - it worked fine before i shipped it but the box was damaged when he got it and did not wish to file claim with the PO so he leaves me a neg. !

P.s. - Also, the led meter is pegged out in FM mode except for periods of silence or low volume parts of a tune. It works as it should in tape mode though.

That's a nice one... and the manual to boot! Wish I had the space and money to pursue it.
Good luck with the sale. I'm sure somebody will come along. It's only been two days - give about a week and see what happens.
I would like to get about 80.00 out of it.
