It is loud lad the loudest box that akai make but i prefurre the warm fuzzy sound of the pj33 plus if you have the pj33 the box in question has a piss poor speaker connection to the main frame of the akai body kind of like the pj33 but worse it dosen't work on a box this size ira wish id never bought mine.

On a positive note the play keys are like the old hitach videos well cool, but apart from being very loud (10d's) the box just dosen't do it for me.
