Just an fyi, the 767 was never a prototype. It was manufactured at the same time as the 777 and sold for slightly less.

I recall them going for $275 when the 777 went for $350.

Good luck on the sale.

Your technically right PF the 767 isn't a prototype because it was sold in the market but very much like a prototype car perhaps not a finished product to be released to the market it didn't have all the bells and whistles its older brother had in model # i mean...but was different than the 777... but sharp took cues from the 767 to make the Japanese counterparts models like the 999 and 1000...like the blue grills and and other features as well...just like car manufactures do..i build and collect model cars so i'm very keen on detail and know pretty much on how they do it on the production line for most type of cars...so i've noticed they've done the same to the "777 family line"

Sorry guys, don't agree. If you get the chance to take a look inside the 767 & Blaster, you probably did but the casings & the bulk of the internals are the same as the 777 but the with some features/controls etc not included or decomissioned. The casing has holes for all the extra controls featured on the 777 but the alluminium face plate blocks them off. This theme continues throughout the design, noticably the jacks, speakers etc

So, surely the 767 came after the 777, i.e. an afterthought, a downgraded version of it's bigger brother in an attempt to get prices down.

So I'm intrigued to know how this is a prototype or as you say it, a unit that lead the way for the Asian 1000/999 models, surely the 777 performed this role.
