Your technically right PF the 767 isn't a prototype because it was sold in the market but very much like a prototype car perhaps not a finished product to be released to the market it didn't have all the bells and whistles its older brother had in model # i mean...but was different than the 777... but sharp took cues from the 767 to make the Japanese counterparts models like the 999 and 1000...like the blue grills and and other features as well...just like car manufactures do..i build and collect model cars so i'm very keen on detail and know pretty much on how they do it on the production line for most type of cars...so i've noticed they've done the same to the "777 family line"
