Would you bid on this item?

1. The seller of eBay auction 280267706925 describes a JVC RC-555JW 4-band box, but his photo is of a 2-band Victor (Japan domestic market edition), lifted from Design Underground in Tokyo.

2. He has no feedback from selling, all from buying.

3. The auction is a quickie: one-day.

4. (just added): bidder's identity protected... so no one can send a message to warn a bidder of his/her fateful mistake!

Well, not to worry. I'm sure eBay's Trust and Safety Dept. is on top of this one with their crack staff that polices auctions and puts scammers out of business before they can harm anyone.

I dont think the seller is gunna do a runner with that box after all he has 100 feedback and a score of 12 besides of wich the box in question is only a cheapo box.

I sent 2 messages to the seller, telling him about the inconsistencies between his description and his photo, and then about discovering his photo came from Design Underground. Here's his response:

Guess I was all wrong about this guy, huh?

if you look at his feedback most of the sellers who left feedback are no longer registered users wtf ,i would stay clear of this guys auctions.

take a look at the seller name "fastfrednj". I guess fastfred may need some fast cash

putting baby boomer on his blocked list --was not one of the slickest moves an ebay seller can make !!

Agree with Eric. Looks like ol' fast freddie is a little short in the cash department this week and could use a few fast spendin' dollars.
