Now there are some nice pics on the listing & the boombox does look to be in great shape, but £200 for this? Especially as it has the "it probably doesn't work" disclaimer in there:
Hitachi TRK-W1 boombox with built-in walkmanDamn...
...strange, 'cos
this Sharp QT90 seems much more reasonably priced.
Haha, I saw that one too!
He does aim high that's for sure, though it's possibly a sought ('sort' according to him!) after unit and someone will probably cough a fair bit on it, I don't know about 200 quid..
He's quite reasonable with the offers I believe.
In his defence he does post decent pics and if you look at his previous auctions the best offers are always way lower than the astronomical buy it nows.I have bought a couple of things of him that i got for a very low offer, his packaging is pretty good too.BUT,you would feel sorry for any one paying £200 for that hitachi.
I bought from him after offering him 1/2 his asking price and he took my bids no problem...I guess he is hopeful?
A great example James of, 'It never hurts to ask!'
Sorry if I was a bit strong - I wasn't having a personal go at byett.
His listings are very nicely done for sure, but some of the BIN prices can be OTT...
I agree! I was surprised he took my offers...
