Good job on the video but your $800 BIN just about blew me off my chair. I'm sure you'll get good coin, these always seem to do fairly well.
sorry to the person from here who asked me about a buy it now price. since someone eles has bid it wouldn't be fair to them.
also the radio does have a scuff on the face that you can see in the photos and the video. also if you look at the corners of the radio you can see black also from were the corners are scuffed.

No problem Jason the BIN offer was from me and the members around here will tell ya "I love those GE's!"...
Wish ya the best of luck on your auction.
I have a few boxes that I love. but the misses yells at me and wont really let me expand my collection. I should just build on a room and tell her thats my boombox collection room.
thats ok johnnygto. how much does a GE like this normaly bring in?
The 6000 (dial tuner) and 6035 (digital tuner) are both fine boomers. For some reason they often go for less than $100.00 on Ebay.I have both of these and also a Blockbuster.Personally I prefer both 6's over the "buster".They are louder and actually have more bass.Normally speaking you think of a box having good bass as having a large cabinet. The 6's are so shallow they almost look like minis in photographs having no reference point included for their actual size.I guess G.E. simply relied on a larger driver for their bass. This is such a foreign idea in this day/age of smaller drivers and wild port designs.I have to wonder how much bass the 6's could push with larger cabinets and ports.Depending on my source material for line inputs, sometimes I will actually dial down the bass pot on these models. The highs from these are also bright and sharp.I consider the 6000 specifically to be really beautiful.I really do like them both.In fact,I have a second currently on the way. When people realize how good these actually are I'm sure they will go for way more.

I dunno Jovie, I don't think that they do all that good in the bass department. I didn't expect much when I first heard one, and was surprised how well they do given the limits of the design. I find them about on par with the Panasonic RX-5080 in terms of bass, but with brighter highs. I think they are reasonably priced when they go at around $100 in good working order.
