I have one of these HOLY!!!!! and mine works perfectly. I would sell it for a lot less that the BIN,I can tell you that much....

I have a bad feeling that some fool will buy the box at that price.

According to him, it powers on but doesn't produce any sound - - which still means that it doesn't work. I offered him $125 before he re-listed it ('cause it's one of the last big boxes I want and it is in good physical shape)... No response. If he wants the $300 he originally posted for the box, he better put it in the shop and get it fixed.

I guess it's nothing but the high grade stuff for those two.

Yes it takes 4 D cells. I have one,it is a nice unit but not the sellers original asking price nice.
