Within the next few days I will be posting some boxes I have for sale.. some of which include two Panasonic RX-5150's, two JVC's and some smaller Panasonics.

I wish I never had to sell them, but my interest has swelled into vintage home audio and the expense is getting higher as my monetary assets are getting smaller. I'm glad to put these in new good homes.

Ok, here we go... keep in mind, these boxes were found in the wild, and are subject to some rough edges. They made need a little TLC.

1.)
Panasonic RX-5150
This is the best box in the lot, in my opinion. Everything works great. At least an 8.5/10 cosmetically. There hasn't been a scratch put on it since I bought it. New belt too. I'm asking only what I paid for it about 2 years ago, $125.



2.)
Panasonic RX-5150
Another 5150, this one needs some love. Tape deck and radio work flawlessly. Tape counter reset button gone, counter still rotates. Loudness button only makes the left side louder. I just used it without loudness on. Missing the battery cover. It's got character, $50. Good unit to carry around. It's been all over the Penn State Campus, delivering wonderful noise pollution.



3.)
Panasonic RX-5010
This box works great, a little dusty, it's been in storage. Built-in AC cord. $35



4.)
Panasonic RX-5235
Another perfectly working box. This one has auto-reverse/ambience. Very clean, hardly any signs of use. Unfortunately missing a small piece of it's faceplate, seen on the front near the cassette buttons. This does not affect functionality. Cosmetically 9/10. $45



5.)
Panasonic RX-4930
An absolute beater. Broken antenna, scratched everywhere. Works perfectly with one hell of a good tuner. Sound is very good for this small unit. Would make a great work radio for around the house. $12



6.)
JVC RC-828JW
I've had this one for a long time. Tape works well, radio works well. Has it's fair share of bangs and dents. Missing the cassette button label. May need some deoxit. Sounds nice and full. Has some kind of glue dripped down the back. Put a strap on it and carry it around, would make a great box to use, or for parts I guess. $35 (paid $50, I'm practically giving this stuff away!)



7.)
JVC PC-37
A neat little box with good sound. Auto-reverse cassette, Aux input, CrO2 setting. Removable speakers as well. Very clean. Function switch got bent in storage, didn't hurt it's functionality at all. Short wave bands too. $35

If you are asking about the Panasonic RX 5150 (the top picture) for $125, that was sold to me a while ago...I thought he might put a SOLD message up but he is probably really busy...

He is definitely a great seller though, I'd PM him on the other 5150 (It is missing a battery plate, but that really is not the end of the world), they are absolutely wonderful boxes...Good luck!

Hey guys, very sorry about the delay. Thanks to dumpster for sending me an email. I have been swamped lately. The following boxes are available:

1.) The second 5150 (missing battery door)
2.) RX-5010
3.) RX-4930
4.) JVC PC-37

Somebody should snatch up that 5150. I have one and can attest to the fact that they are well made, good sounding boxes. Even with the issues pointed out for that one, its a worthwhile unit to carry around.

Mine is pulling duty as a car stereo in the Highlander while the factory stereo is shipped off getting serviced. (gotta have tunes in the ride!!!)

I second this notion. I bought the one with the battery plate and the box is great. At that price, I am surprised it hasn't been snatched up!

I think I'm stupid for selling the 5150's.. but alas, I have a JVC M70 here that I love to pieces.
