okay, so my flatmates have found out about my recent interest in walkmans/ghettoblasters and one of them told me about one his parents have at home but he didnt know the name of it. after much searching on google for pics we worked out its a sharp gf-525. now i told him how much some of these boxes go for so hes interested in selling it.

it is gonna be a couple weeks before it go's up on ebay as its at home and not up with us at uni, and i dont know what the condition is yet but he said it should be pretty well looked after. but just wanted to find out from here if anyone knows if they're worth much and also if anyones intersted before i list it on ebay for him.

I`ve got the same box as that one,got the manual with it,was working about a year ago,but got it out last week,now the tape decks dont work so good anymore,they are very loud,and got quite alot of bass,i love the sound of mine,just a shame about the decks..
i`de say that your mates will sell for about £50-£80,all depends on what people want,on that week its on the bay..

Nah i`ve only had alot of boxes because i`ve been at it for years,so boxes used to come and go..buy,sell,swap..but there`s alot more guys collections on here that will make my collection look like nats droppings..
There`s alot of nice radio`s out there that i`ve never had/never see/never afford..
