I checked the box again and it seems that the second tapedeck is working but the sound is very low.

I have no idea what it was. I had it in storage for a year so I dunno. I did clean it up last night and that stain is gone except for a faint outline of where the stain used to be.

I'm sure with the correct cleaner and some elbow grease it may come out.
