I hav this c100 that I was going to fix up, but alas, I do not have the time... so I offer it here to part out to anyone interested...

the good news:
cassette door is available

bad news:
1)leveling tab is missing from cassette door
2)no spare cassette drawer
3)tape one MSSI does not work
4)upper deck, used to work, now just hums when cassette is inserted, and I havent had time to determine the reason
5)rear case is broken, but i believe all pieces are there
6)transformer/board are in pieces
7) everthing NEEDS CLEANING
8) grilles have some rust spots

(Example... I am missing the deck door, but I have the cassette storage tray in great shape (including metal trim)..... The back of my C100F is in great shape... my grills are not rusty etc etc)

I am not trying to horn in on his action... just trying to give someone an option if they want it.

Ive done this before!

I picked up two Sharp VZ-2000's from a member here that were totally torn down. Had my tech build up a really nice one from the two... and believe it or not, a working 'parts box' that brought decent money.

Id have a go at it again if it works out that way!

my own c100f looks EXACTLY like yours --with the missing door and tray --but IMHO --its ALOT more fun to just keep and use this big LOUD mother --
than to part it out --- (which is a pain)

Didn't read the whole thing, but I need the upper cassette deck.......is that available and how much if so??
