jason1976 - 2008-12-11 02:45

I kind of messed up and put info on this under the wrong part of the forum. I went ahead and listed it on ebay.

from what I am looked up this is a rare find.

I used a bad link or something sorry

I didn't see anything mentioned in the listing about the remote control. Does this indeed have the RC?

it's missing but I think I see one on ebay.

It is still available through Panasonic too.
Parts.
Part number RAK-RX308W for $16.95. Wink

jason1976 - 2008-12-11 13:37

I had no idea they still had it. I checked there before for my technics home stereo and it was alot more then that remote. 16.95 is cheap. If I would of known that I would of bought one before I listed it on ebay.

Be careful... most on-line parts outlets list every part under the sun... the just dump parts numbers into their site without checking to see if anything is available. Then you order it and they charge you... and you wait 2-6 weeks and find out it is NLA.

They even list old "wired" remotes. You might have luck with this one because it is listed with the manufacturer. But I would not count on it or lead your buyers to believe that it is available until you can find out for sure.

panasonic.fan - 2008-12-11 14:33

Panasonic usually has the parts. Who's that sham site, partsearch.com, they practically never have the parts they list? I bought about $400 worth of parts from them 3 years ago, only to have the entire order canceled a few weeks later.

blaster - 2008-12-11 14:43

yeah you cant rely on them anymore for parts...i bought a sharp gf-777 service manual from them about 5 years ago..after that they seem to have less and less parts as years went by....before that in the late 80s and early 90s...partsusa had a store and use to be called panson electronics and they use to have everything!!!

It has 10 people watching it. I guess I will have to wait to find out how many bid. it could just be people from the forum here just watching.

jason1976 - 2008-12-16 20:42

It has 10 people watching it but only one bid. I guess people are waiting for the last few sec to bid. that or they just want to see what something like things brings in.

71spud - 2008-12-16 20:51

The serious bidders wait until the last minute....

jason1976 - 2008-12-16 21:28

I guess I do the same thing too. I don't bid until its time for it to be over. 5 sec left and I enter it threw fast. lol I wonder how many people I piss off doing that. I always have two windows open and have the bid ready to enter and have a window that I keep refreashing with. alot of the time I have it entered in to were all I have to do is click Confirm Bid in the 2nd window. and I always bid a few cents also to outbid someone. like $150.18 that way if someone bid 150.02 I will of won it by 16 cents. hehe
