Just dont have the time any more to fix up,downsizing my collection keeping all my faves,ideal for someone to fix up buy as a job jot or i can sell individually,best to pop down and collect just tryin to recoup what they cost me.
I have;
4x hitachi TRK8190
2X HITACHI TRK8290 These have never been serviced and need a good clean a few switches are broken and a couple op knobs missing ad about 3 antennas needed.
sony cfs950s all is working chrome bits someone has painted green but comes off very easily just flakes off is some battery corrosion around handle area. is missing a bit of plastic which has broken off by handle.
Hitachi trk8800 was serviced bout 2 years ago new head belts all working has no door a few marks over the unit and marked vu window,everthing works apart from a slow fwd and rewind.
TOSHIBA RT9510S Serviced earlier this year in good condition a few spots of paint on back cover,all works fine apart from tape which will not engage to play just stopped whilst i was usin it.
HITACHI TRK9140 In a well used condition needs good service missing 1 knob bit dirty.
HITACHI TRK9150W In very good condition was serviced 3 years ago all works but tape spool has seazed to turn but goes into fwd/rew ok capstan and roller work fine had new head fitted and belts.
JVC RC838JW All serviced about a year ago just need a door a couple of dings on the ali panel top otherwise in very good condition.If interested pm me before i put on ebay.

you guys need to take a holiday to uk with a flight that allows you at least 32k per person on luggage so you can sqeeze in at least 3 boomboxes each,with the likes of the credit crunch cripplin some of us we have no choice but to let some of our prized boxes go to a new home.
I have only the hitachis trk 9140,9150 sony cfs950s and jvcrc838 left.

Don and Johnny - I take it you guys are all single? Judging from my own experience - when I was in a relationship - my ex never let me wait until full desintegration - she always made me change underwear at LEAST once a month
