RBJ, I have an RV-DP200 & noticed that the "Mid" control seems to alter bass rather than the midrange. So, with the superwoofer volume, it ends up with two bass controls (at least it's a step up from EQ presets).

Are yours the same?

hi paul --i have enjoyed it so much --that i never bothered to analyze anything --

the treble control provides a very definitive difference -
but the midrange control is just marginal.

I love my RV-DP100...

Too bad the tape deck doesn't work on mine.

I'm thinking I will have to give repairing it a shot.

the CD player is knackered on mine...

anyone got a spare?
