Greetings.
Just wondering if anyone's interested in my Casio KX-101 boombox / keyboard synth combo. I really hate to sell it because they're a pain in the ass to find, but I could use the extra cash at the moment.
Everything functions as it should, and it is in overall good cosmetic condition. I'd say between 7-8 out of 10 on cosmetics. Couple blemishes (mainly on the speaker housings), *no cracks* in the plastic. Speaker cables are replacements as far as I know, however these are a standard cable. I will be adding pics soon!
KX-101 PICS!:
Note: This last photo represents a small blemish on the right speaker. Plastic is NOT cracked.
Asking price is $200 + shipping (most likely via Priority Mail) within the U.S.
I am also selling a Magnavox D8443 parts box. I originally picked this up with the intent of restoration, however I think it would be better used as a parts box. Radio (including shortwave) functions.
Most everything is intact on the D8443 as far as I can tell, however there is an issue with the power switch... Someone decided to fit an on/off toggle switch (they cut a small area of plastic near the original switch
) due to a problem with the power button. The original power switch is broken, and there *may* be a small part or two missing. Due to the switch issue, the tape deck will not function without some work. Tape counter is missing.
This is in the *exact* condition I purchased it in, and has many useful parts! Just looking to get my money back on this:
Looking for $50 + shipping within the U.S. May be willing to sell parts if no one wants the whole unit.
Post here, or PM me if you're interested. Again, pics will be added shortly. I have insane amounts of feedback on neo-geo.com, and shmups.com. (All positive of course.)

Well guys, I think you can tell I'm not crazy about selling the KX-101.
Open to *reasonable* offers, but I do have quite a bit in this...so I'd like to get my asking price. (or ballpark)
Anyway, I finally added some pics of both the KX-101 keyboard box, and the Magnavox D8443. Looking for PayPal only at the moment. I'd prefer to ship these within the U.S. only if possible.
^^Up we go!^^

Open to reasonable offers, guys. I'd like to sell these soon, and don't really want to put them on the bay.
^Bump^
re: the Casio--- this was just sold recently on ebay by a member of this board to give you an idea of the market. How do you think the condition of your keyboard is relative to this one?

I would say it's pretty close in terms of condition, but the one in the auction is probably a little better.
Shipping price in the auction is also $50, and I will likely charge half (or less) to ship mine. Remember, I'm also considering reasonable offers. Would like to at least break even...
