I have 2 james both modded they easily sound a good as a jvc pc55 1 sounds better but like i said before when standard there nothing to write home about.

Both of the Panasonic models with turntables are junk..... as "challenged" as the DC33 is for good bass, it's miles ahead of either Panasonic model.


Contact oldskool if you get one, he's done a mod on the speakers to get much better lower end. I like mine fine as is, it's a present in waiting for one of my best friends that had one as a teenager.
