I would have offered discount on shipping just to get the sale complete. 1800 not bad for that box.I would have said 100 to ship to you and picked up the slack on the rest,the loss would not have been that bad thou for the seller,now maybe it will not sell again for that price.

Oh ya - I remember this box! I don't think the buyer changed his mind because of a shiping cost. More likely - when his wife found out how much he almost spent on a 25 year old radio - she promissed to kick him out of the house
