Cosmetically a 8.5 out of ten with a few dings in the top stainless trim and a few very minor scratches and blemishes.
Overall very clean and well kept.
Mechanically : Speakers have been upgraded to Marantz 8 ohm speakers they sound much better than the originals and look stunning. I have the originals and will include them in the sale.
Only problem with the originals are a slight scratchy at low volumes only (can be rebuilt).
Cassette deck works as well as music search but plays a bit slow and record function does not work. door ejects smooth with no problems.
All dials and function switches work and very quiet (not scratchy at all).
Tuner works really good and pulls in stations strong and in stereo.
Line in works great as well use it with my i-pod all the time.

DAMN!!! that is a nice one Frank! Someday maybe I'll get an M90.....

the sound was spectacular --
and TA is understating the cosmetics -
its closer to 9.5 than 8.5

And don't sleep on those Marantz speakers! That is a serious upgrade to that unit I wouldn't change. My ears were a living witness along with thye Sunshine Mix Gang. He's including the originals so if it's your bag, change 'em back. I wouldn't if I could afford it. And I would love to have it.

I want it but wanting and getting are 2 different things.. I wish money grew on trees.....
