i recantly got this unit and in the processes of fitting new belts all round, tape is fully working and will also put on new pinchroller, idler wheel and tyer, radio is fully working. still waiting for belts for record deck.
its in very good condition. its sitll in bits at mo, and will take pics if any one is interested, rather a uk trade as it wound cost and arm and a leg to send out side of uk. reason for trade is that i have 2 of these now

Geoff, I think your right about shipping costing an arm and a leg outside of the UK.
I'm sure that's why some of us US members haven't responded.

So who gets all the extra money from the overcharging? The Government (taxes), Shipper or? I notice that some countries charge several times more to ship than their neighbors, I'm not even factoring in the rediculous VAT's that some countries charge.

thanks for your intrest but shipping outside of uk would cost fortune as it really heavy, also this is a fragile bbox what with the record deck, you here so many story's about damaged bboxs in shipping and dont want to fall victim to that

Yeah that's my daughter, she's so into the discolight boxes.

i sold my vz2000 recently on ebay and paid £21 shipping with citylink couriers from edinburgh to london - god knows how much it would be to send out of the country !?!
