I haven't posted for what must be years, and am sad at the reason I now am...the sale of a small and beloved collection (yep, that's right, I'm moving and getting married!)

i'll post some pics soon, but among the collection are (and all are fully working and in at least excellent condition. I'm a pretty anal collector)

Hitachi TRK 8290e

Sharp GF990 (with fully working, mint keyboard. The only slight issue with this one is the very faint yellowing of the rear plastic, a common problem, but nowhere near asbad as most you see)

JVC M70-L, again, really nice condition. loud as hell, and weighs a ton.

I wanted to post these here first and see what sensible offers I can get. Ebay always did get all the playing, and half the time it was crap being sold, so from one collector to a group of other collectors! get in touch.

JVC M70's are currently comanding good return US-$350/UK-£200
TRK - A clean one is worth UK-£65+
GF-990 - not too sure.

By the Hitachi, I'm guessing you are UK.

thanks for the interest. I am in the UK, and live in Essex, not far from London (about 15 miles east). Obviously collection would be preferable (because a) postage will cost a bit on some of the heavier boxes, and b) Royal Mail are shit at the best of times, and courriers can be very expensive). I have no problem posting, but I've had bad experiences in the past.

I've been away from the site for a number of years...missed it...with the new sign up I've become a newbie! haha.

hey i remember you!   you were the guy that bought loads of high end hiphop vinyl and also single handedly pushed the prices of ghetto blasters up through the roof on ebay!

Sharp WQ cd15 (cd did work, but needs looking at now. very clean box though)
Sony CFS 85s Stereo Zilba'p ( this is a hard to find box, and a real classic. The sound is pretty much audiophile quality, and very very heavy!)

None of these boxes have been put up on ebay yet. I'm looking to see if some genuine collectors are interested first, before feeding the fashionistas cravings on ebay! let me know, i'll give it a couple of weeks. Pics to be posted soon.
