Actually these are great little units. Very early and preceded the era of cheap Super Jumbo boxes full of air to the point where Aiwa simply stuffed as much as possible into this demure 15x40x10cm unit. The 940 boasts 6 speakers (4" main, tweeters and 3.5" oval side-shooters) Other features include separate bass/treb, twin VUs, counter, etc, all features found on much larger units.
Sorry to harp on about it but I was tempted to grab it myself but alas I already have one.

wish I spent more time on here now, especially as the search facility is back. Just got to climb the "look'n'feel" learning curve now...
got one of these today in good condition apart from a slight bit of trim on the tuner dial,have to agree with agentorange the sound is good for a small unit.
